The Albany Empire add NAL Championship Quarterback, Mike Fafaul

ALBANY NY: The Albany Empire announced today that we have signed Quarterback Mike Fafaul. Fafaul played his college football for the UCLA Bruins and was a key member of the 2019 National Arena League Championship Jacksonville Sharks team. This will be Fafaul’s second stop here in the Capital Region as he was a member of the 2018 inaugural season of the Albany Empire.

Albany Empire Head Coach Tom Menas shared his excitement about the addition of Mike Fafaul “It’s a great final piece to the Puzzle.” Menas said “Mike Fafaul is a ‘Big Stage’ quarterback with tremendous upside for the Empire!”

“I couldn’t be more excited to be returning to the Capital Region.” Said Fafaul “I look forward to helping the Empire continue their history of championship arena football. It’s time to go to work!”
