North Texas Bulls Ready to Run with the NAL for 2024
Six Teams Join the Growing National Arena League
ATLANTA, GA – The National Arena League officially reveals Fort Worth, Texas as the newest franchise to join the rapidly growing National Arena League as recent league expansion reshapes the landscape of the NAL and extends the reach of arena football into seven states now nationwide growing the footprint of the league. The North Texas Bulls become the seventh member of the 2024 National Arena League geared to kickoff in spring. The Bulls become the first 2024 Texas based arena football team to play in the National Arena League where they will face off against teams in Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, Nebraska, Iowa, and Idaho. The city of Fort Worth, TX provides strategic advantages to the National Arena League as its position is centrally located in the United States. For travel, Dallas/Fort Worth is the second largest airport in the nation and the city of Fort Worth is currently the largest city in the National Arena League both in population and landscape. The region of North Texas also has a rich history of football with historically successful teams, promising talent, and massive fan bases.
In 2024, the Bulls will host their home games at the Cowtown Coliseum in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Prior to joining the National Arena League the North Texas Bulls played in the American Arena League (AAL) and were the league’s champion in 2021.
“After taking a considerable amount of time to examine what our long term plans were as an organization, we ultimately kept coming back to the National Arena League as the clear cut choice of what was in the best interests for the Bulls, business partners and fans”, Doc Hudson, owner of the North Texas Bulls. “There have been many challenges since our inception, but how we have faced those challenges and continued to grow has been a defining part of our culture. Partnering with a league such as the NAL who shares in that culture is what made this decision so easy for us. As we continue this next chapter, the entire Bulls organization is thrilled to showcase not only our team, but our new partnership with the NAL.”
The North Texas Bulls join the Sioux City Bandits, Omaha Beef, Carolina Cobras, Topeka Tropics, Colorado Spartans, and Idaho Horsemen as current NAL members. The National Arena League is proud to report that more exciting news will continue to be delivered to fans as the league continues to grow for the 2024 season.
