INJURY REPORT: NAL PLAYOFFS
TOP FOUR TEAMS ENTER 2021 NAL PLAYOFFS
ATLANTA - The National Arena League has revealed its injury report for the upcoming 2021 NAL Playoff round which will take place this Saturday, August 7, at 7pm. The four NAL teams that clinched the playoffs this season are the #1 Albany Empire (7-1), #2 Columbus Lions (6-2), #3 Orlando Predators (4-4), and #4 Carolina Cobras (3-5). The Jersey Flight and the defending NAL champion Jacksonville Sharks did not make the postseason this year after being eliminated in the final regular season games played last weekend.
This weekend, the Columbus Lions will host their first-ever NAL Playoff game in team history. The Lions are the only NAL team to make the postseason in all four seasons of the league’s existence but has until now been a visiting team in those prior playoffs games. The 6-2 Lions will face the Orlando Predators who enter their first NAL Playoff game in team history. The 7-1 Albany Empire will host their first NAL playoff game since joining the NAL for the 2021 season, the Empire have been to a playoff game in every year in their team history and even won the Arena Bowl in their last season in AFL during 2019. The Empire look to become league champions again as they face the #4 seed Carolina Cobras in the playoffs who were the last team to make it to the playoffs with their stunning victory over the #3 Orlando Predators to punch their ticket to the final seed in the NAL playoffs. The Cobras are very familiar with the NAL postseason as they not only have made the playoffs in every season in team history but have made it to the NAL Championship in each NAL season since they joined the league & won the league championship in 2018.

The #1 ranked Albany Empire enter this playoff game with one player out due to injury.

The #4 Carolina Cobras enter this game on a two-game win streak as Coach Res and the Cobras attempt to make it three this weekend. The team reported several notable injuries this week, including some key players.

The #2 Columbus Lions are 3-1 at home going into this playoff game into Columbus and they enter the game with three players on their injury report.

Orlando Predators (4-4)
The #3 Orlando Predators will look to upset the Columbus Lions this week the Predators haven’t played the Lions since their first game in the season where they lost to Columbus on the road 40-55. This week, the Predators have one key player reported as injured.
