CAPTAIN NICK HAAG RETURNS TO ALBANY FOR TITLE DEFENSE

The Albany Empire Re-Sign Captain Linebacker/Fullback Nick Haag for 2023 Season

Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has re-signed captain Linebacker/Fullback, Nick Haag, for the 2023 National Arena League season. Haag, a native of Worcester, MA was a staple on the Empire defense during their run for the 2022 National Arena League championship.  Due to Haag’s high level of play and intensity on the field he brings a constant source of energy for the Empire defense and fan base.  Haag quickly became a fan favorite in Albany due to this energy that he brought to the MVP Arena.

Haag ended the 2022 season a champion after appearing in 12 games recording 25 tackles, 6 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception and 1 touchdown.
