ATLANTA – The National Arena League announces the Orlando Predators have gained a new Ownership Group to lead the team in 2020. The Predators are one of the most historic names in arena football. After leaving the AFL in 2017, the Predators returned to the Amway Center, a.k.a. the Jungle, in 2019 by joining the NAL. The Orlando based Ownership Group will oversee the team and its success for the 2020 season and beyond. “It’s been a great journey to get to this point, and now we are pleased to announce the new Ownership Group of the Orlando Predators We believe this change will lead to great success for the fans of the Orlando Predators, the city of Orlando, and the National Arena League.” stated NAL Commissioner, Chris Seigfried.
In addition to the new Ownership Group, the Predators will welcome their new Head Coach in the coming weeks to the team. This coach, a former Predator great and veteran arena coach, brings extensive experience and will lead the team into the future. The Predators return to arena football in 2019 began with a phenomenal start, winning their first game back in the Amway Center 42-40 against the Columbus Lions. Despite the electric start, the team struggled, finishing the season with a 2-12 record. With a new Head Coach, new Ownership Group, and the power of the Jungle, 2020 should prove to be an extraordinary year for the Orlando Predators and provide the most engaging, action-packed experience for Predator fans.
