Rob Storm earns Executive of the Year

GREENSBORO –  The NAL continued their 2018 awards today with the yearly awards. Cobras Kicker Craig Peterson earned Special Teams Player of the Year and Cobras Executive Rob Storm earned Executive of the Year. Peterson continues to impress by adding this award to his resumé after earning First Team All-NAL honors for the Kicker position.

Peterson, this season, has controlled the entire league since the very first week of the season. His outstanding efforts has made him become the Special Teams Player of the Week on five separate occasions. He earned Special Teams Player of the Week in Weeks Three, Four, Seven, 15, and 17. Peterson looks to finish the 2018 season with a championship victory over the Columbus Lions.

In the regular season, Peterson broke an NAL record for the most PAT’s made with 88 and deuces with 27. He was 88-of-110 on PAT’s, 4-of-14 on FG’s, and made 27 deuces.

This season in the playoffs, Peterson is 7-of-9 on PAT’s 1-of-1 on FG’s, and made one deuce. Peterson plans on continuing to show his greatness tomorrow night at 7:00 pm (E.T.) at the Greensboro Coliseum, as the Cobras take on the Lions in the NAL Championship Game.

In addition, Cobras Executive Rob Storm earned the 2018 League Award for “Best Executive.” Under Rob leadership the Cobras as a first year franchise have grown in the Greensboro Community and Storm has helped a expansion franchise become the first team in the NAL to host a championship in their inaugural season.
