Former IFL Lineman joins the Sharks for 2018
JACKSONVILLE- Ron “Rojo” Johnson (6’3,290) signs with the Jacksonville Sharks for his fourth year of arena football.
Johnson split the 2017 season with the Bloomington Edge of the IFL and Amarillo Venom of the CIF. During his time with both teams he played offensive line. Johnson signed with the Iowa Barnstormers for the 2016 training camp and signed with the Jacksonville Sharks in 2016. in 2015 signed as a offensive lineman for the Green Bay Blizzard for his rookie season and finished the IFL season with the Cedar Rapids Titans.
Johnson began his college career at Jacksonville State University where he served on the offensive line for the Gamecocks as a freshman. Following his time at JSU, he transferred to Western Michigan University where he finished his college career.
Johnson is a native of Redford, Michigan and played high school football at Redford Union High School.
