Former West Michigan Ironman signs with the Mammoths
PORTLAND- Haylon Jacobs (6’0, 254) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his first year of arena football. Jacobs played with the West Michigan Ironmen of the CIF in 2016. Jacobs played in five games and recorded 13 tackles, one sack, and one pass breakup.
Jacobs played college football at Central Methodist and recorded 68 tackles, one interception, one pass defense, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Jacobs is a native of Mexico, Missouri and played high school football at Mexico High School in Mexico, Missouri. Jacobs played three years of varsity football. In those three years, Jacobs rushed the ball 189 times for 784 yards and nine touchdowns. He had eight receptions for 104 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, he had five sacks, one interception, and three fumble recoveries.
