All-State Quarterback signs with Maine
PORTLAND- Darrien Boone (6’3, 209) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his first year of arena football.
Boone started college in Central Michigan University, transferred to Austin Peay, before transferring to Lindenwood in Belleview, Illinois. In 2017, Boone played in eight games. In those eight games, he completed 110-of-211 passes for 1,029 yards and two touchdowns. Boone also rushed 72 times for 255 yards and one touchdown.
Boone is a native of Chicago, Illinois and played high school football at Fenger High School in Chicago, Illinois. During his time at Fenger, Boone helped his team achieve First Team All-Conference, All-City, All-Area, and All-State. Boone graduated high school one semester early to enroll with Central Michigan in the spring.
