Cobras sign All-IFL Wide Receiver Jordan Jolly - Two-Time First Team All-IFL Receiver comes to Greensboro

GREENSBORO – One of the NAL’s newest expansion franchises, the Carolina Cobras are entering their inaugural season in 2018 and are excited to announce the signing of star WR Jordan Jolly, a former teammate to Cobras QB Charles McCullum.

Jolly (6’2”,205) led the IFL in receptions (97), receiving yards (1,110) and yards per game (69.4) in 2017. He also finished the season second in the IFL in touchdown receptions (21) while playing for the Wichita Nighthawks. Jolly was a playmaker Nighthawks’ offense as he was named First Team All-IFL in back to back seasons from 2016-2017.  In 2016, Jolly finished the year with 90 receptions for 987 yards and 17 touchdowns, and finished in the top 10 in the IFL in receptions (2nd), receiving yards (4th), receiving touchdowns (10th), receptions per game (1st) and yards per game (3rd). With that, he helped the Nighthawks offense record 62.6 points per game, 298.6 yards per game and 226.3 receiving yards per game. From 2014-2015, Jolly played as a wide receiver for the Nashville Venom of the IFL.  In their inaugural season, Jolly helped the Venom win their first Professional Indoor Football League title. In the Championship game, Jolly recorded 10 catches for 156 yards and three touchdowns. He also helped the Venom finish the season with a 12-2 record.

In 2013, Jolly spent his rookie with the Texas Revolution (IFL) and was one of the top performers on the team.  He won Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Green Bay Blizzard, recording 10 catches for 162 yards and three touchdowns. By that time, he led the team in total yards (471) and yards per game (52.3) and ranked second on the team with 10 touchdowns on the year.

Jordan Jolly is a native of Missouri City, Texas and played as a wide receiver at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. In 2012, Jolly was part of the highest scoring team in Navarro football history with 521 points/ 43.4 per game.
