JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that Defensive Lineman / Fullback Montavis Mack signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for his second year of arena football and second season with the Jacksonville Sharks.
Mack (6’1”, 280) began his rookie year in arena football with the Sharks in 2017. During his rookie season, Mack played in six games for the Sharks and collected a total of six tackles. Prior to the Sharks Mack played for Jacksonville University and was a second team All-Pioneer League offensive lineman during his senior year. Mack also played defense with 16 tackles, one for a loss, and one fumble recovery.
Mack is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and attended Andrew Jackson High School where he helped the Tigers to two consecutive district titles.
