Lions resign WR Tristan Purifoy

The Columbus Lions are excited announce the return of one the National Arena League’s most talented receivers.  Wide Receiver Tristan Purifoy (6’0, 210lb, North Alabama) finished the 2017 season with 66 receptions  for 793 yards, 3rd and 2nd in the league respectively. He also had the 2nd highest scoring per game average, with 12.2 points. The Lions as a whole lead the NAL in touchdowns over the course of the 2017 season.  Head Coach Jason Gibson says “We are excited to have Tristan back. He is one of the premier receivers in Arena football and stats prove it. Not only is he a great player but a great professional.”
