Grizzlies loose hard fought game to the Steelhawks

hc grizzlies orange

It was a hard fought battle for the High Country Grizzlies (3-4) as they faced the National Arena League's number two team, the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (7-1), in the second of three meetings for the two teams.

Both of the matches between these two teams have ended with a Steelhawks victory, with this meeting ending with a score of 28-56. The Grizzlies are ready to come back  from this meeting and get ready for the showdown tomorrow night as well as the third meeting with Lehigh Valley next month.  The team has taken this week to rest up, practice and fix the things that they saw going wrong in their last game. They are ready now, more than ever, to come together, make a statement and get back on a winning streak that they know they are capable of accomplishing.

"Last week we didn't play together, we didn't play for each other and we didn't have energy at all. We all have to look ourselves in the mirror and ask ourselves do we want

to be champions and do whatever it takes", says Running Back Undra Hendrix, "For the game tomorrow, we ahve to play with energy and passion and lay it on the line for 60 minutes. It's playoff time, win or go home, it is just that simple. I'm anxious to see how we play tomorrow, our backs are against the wall but we have to keep fighting".

The Grizzlies will be back in the den again tomorrow night against the Columbus Lions (5-3). Kick off is set for 7 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m. for spectators.
