JACKSONVILLE – The National Arena League announced on Wednesday that Sharks defensive back David Hyland earned Defensive Player of the Week for his standout performance against the Columbus Lions.
Hyland helped the Sharks (6-0) come out victorious during their closest game of the season with the score 37-28. Hyland racked up 9 tackles during the game and held the league’s leading receiver Michael Reeve to only 61 yards, his lowest output of the year.
