A new era for Corpus Christi indoor football starts next week when the newest team to represent our city kicks off. The Rage has been holding training camp the past two weeks at The American Bank Center and they will play at Monterrey, Mexico next Monday.
"We have guys who are coming from all over," said defensive back Rueben Flowers."Not just local guys, but players from Ohio, Georgia and Florida. So bringing in talent from outside the area is really exciting."
"I think we have a great group of guys," said quarterback Clay Belton. "Receivers, quarterbacks and offensive line are all great. We know this is an offensive driven league so points are big. On the other side of the ball, we have a great defense. I think we will be able to create some stops and if you get a couple of stops in this league you got a good shot at winning games."
The Rage home opener is set for March 26th against the Columbus, Georgia Lions.
